Welcome to The Anteatery, a culinary beacon located at 4001 Mesa Rd in Irvine, California. This cafeteria-style dining destination stands out as a student favorite, offering a diverse array of mouthwatering options that can easily compete with professional restaurants.
Strolling through the spacious, modern interior, you will quickly notice the inviting atmosphere. Many patrons, like Youngsuk Kim, have raved about the cleanliness and comfort that The Anteatery provides, creating an ideal space for students to unwind and savor their meals. The ambiance is perfect for socializing or simply enjoying a quiet lunch between classes.
One of The Anteatery's biggest draws is its remarkable selection of dishes. Whether you’re in the mood for hearty breakfasts or sumptuous lunches, you’re bound to find something to satisfy your cravings. Anna S emphasizes the extensive choices available, noting, "Once you venture out into the real world, you'll realize how annoying it can be when you can't decide on what to eat." This sentiment resonates with many who appreciate the all-you-care-to-eat offerings and the accessibility of quality food.
Feeling particularly hungry? Seek out the renowned "Big D**k Breakfast" as highlighted by Busta. With classic favorites like French toast, pancakes, and an impressive salad bar, there’s never a shortage of delicious options. For those with a sweet tooth, don’t miss the beloved froyo machine featuring pineapple dole whip. It's a delightful treat that keeps students coming back for more!
Moreover, The Anteatery is constantly evolving, thanks to students' feedback via VOC surveys. This commitment to improvement shines through not just in the food variety but also in the stellar service. As Kyler Chin points out, the staff ensures timely service, even during peak hours, ensuring that students enjoy smooth dining experiences.
This focus on quality and customer satisfaction places The Anteatery in a league of its own among college dining halls. With vegan options that equal the taste of traditional entrees, visitors are encouraged to explore the full range of what this remarkable cafeteria has to offer.
Next time you find yourself in Irvine, be sure to stop by The Anteatery, where satisfaction is guaranteed, and every meal is an opportunity to indulge in culinary creativity!

I’m not sure how other college dining halls do it, but The Anteatery has a wide selection of food choices and I can always find something good to eat. These college kids have no idea how good they have it. Once you venture out into the real world you’ll realize how annoying it can be when you can’t decide on what to eat. When you work 8 to 10 hours a day and you get home from work, the last thing you want to do is cook or try to figure out what to eat. Not to mention how expensive everything is now. Enjoy the all you care to eat food while you can. My favorite thing is the froyo machine that serves the pineapple dole whip! I also recommend that students voice their opinions through VOC surveys because they are always listening and always trying to improve the program.

I've been eating here as a student for a lil more than a month now, and I gotta say it aint half bad. It's got a nice variety of foods available everyday to an extent, and whenever I've had a tough workout in the morning, the 'eatery can provide the big d**k breakfast I require. There's been times where the breakfast becomes unavailable before 11am, sooner than expected, so I miss out on some of that french toast or pancakes, but we chillin wit the brunches. Even at its busiest, they bring out the food consistently and hastily with little gaps between when all the foods been taken. I commend the employees on their work ethic. Plus, the yogurt slaps. Seriously, try that yogurt and granola, that s**t is gas.

The interior is neat and modern. It is spacious enough for students to have a meal in a non-packed and relaxing environment. The beef&turkey lasagna that I had 2 days ago were much better than the lasagna I ate at a local Olive Garden :)

I personally enjoy The Anteatery more than Brandywine because they have a huge salad bar and it's so much bigger inside and outside. Not saying I don't like Brandywine it's just there's so little space compared to The Anteatery. Love all the variety of food that is offered here too

Lovely options. More options Monday - Thursday. Fantastic hot coffee brewer with milk options. Entrees at 'Home' are excellent, with comparable vegan options. The salad bar also is great, similar to Brandywine dining hall. I love the fresh cut fruit.
